Elder Bruce R McConkie counseled, "The most important single thing that any Latter-day Saint ever does in this world is to marry the right person, in the right place, by the right authority." (“Agency or Inspiration?” New Era, Jan. 1975, 38) TWO-HUNDRED and TEN days ago I married my best friend, in the Salt Lake Temple by a sealer called of God. Today, I look admiringly at our "cake topper" as a great reminder of the covenants we shared. And although it is just an object, seeing the Salt Lake Temple in the heart is small representation of our eternal love--which will continue forever!
(BTW: the picture does not do this justice... the temple is really 3-D and the lace thing is green--our wedding color. It really is *beautiful*!!!)
