Cake Mix Cookies Variations

So... I don't know if anyone remembers my recipe post about Oreo Cakester cookies.  But I just found a whole bunch of yummy variations that I thought I would share.  Eliminate the the powdered sugar and cream cheese for non-sandwiched/ frosted cookies.  Mix these variations (or come up with your own) into the original recipe for creative cake mix cookies.  Delicious!! :D

BTW: for the "basic recipe" click here!

Flavored Cookies:
Use different flavors of cake mix.  So simple but so delicious!
For an easy frosting, use the coordinating flavor from the store.  Yum! :)

Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Use white cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies:
Use spice cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 1 c. oatmeal, 1/2 c. applesauce, 1/2 c. raisins

Banana Nut Cookies:
Use yellow cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 2/3 c. mashed banana, 2/3 c. chopped nuts, 1/4 c. flour, dash of nutmeg and/ or cinnamon

Cherry Coconut Cookies:
Use either white cake mix or chocolate cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 1/2 can cherry pie filling, 1/2 c. shredded coconut, 2/3 c. flour, 1/2 t. almond extract

Hawaiian Cookies:
Use yellow cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 1 c. shredded coconut, 1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple, 1/ 4 c. flour, dash cinnamon

Carrot Cake Cookies:
Use spice cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 1 c. grated carrot, 1/2 c. raisins, 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Peanut Butter Cookies:
Use yellow cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 1/2 c. peanut butter chips, 1/2 c. chopped peanuts, 1/4 c. peanut butter.

Snickerdoodles:
Use white cake mix.  To the basic recipe add 1/4 c. - 1/2 c. flour (make it really stiff).  Roll into balls and roll in a cinnamon/ sugar mixture.

Diet Friendly Cookies:
Use Philsbury sugar free cake mix (only comes in yellow and chocolate).  Substitute the eggs for 1/3 c. egg beaters.  Substitute the oil for 1/3 c. sugar free apple sauce.  Add extra mix-ins as desired.  But for these as is, if you make 30 cookies, each will have ~50 calories.  :)

P.S. I would love to hear what other amazing combinations you come up with for these SUPER easy cookies!
